• The flow

One thread, from "we should work together" to "funds received."

Everything starts from the client record, so nothing gets retyped and nothing falls through.

01

Proposal

Scope, price, timeline — built from your templates, sent as a clean page your client can read on their phone.

02

Contract

Plain-English templates with click-to-accept signing. They tap, it's dated, you're covered.

03

Invoice

Line items, sales tax, your own Stripe link — money goes from their card to your account. We never touch it.

• The details

Built for one freelancer, not a sales team.

Time → money

Unbilled hours become invoices

Track time per client; one tap turns the week's hours into line items. The app does the math and the remembering.

The nudge

Overdue invoices chase themselves

GigPaper watches due dates and suggests the next best move — a friendly nudge that gets most invoices paid within 2 days.

Your money

Get paid your way

Stripe link, PayPal.Me, a Venmo handle, your own bank details, or "the check is in the mail" — every invoice carries your rails, and you mark it paid however the money actually moved. We never touch or store a cent.

Studio

Estimates that become invoices

Send a polished estimate, let the client accept it with one click, then convert it to an invoice in a tap — no retyping. Add your own accent color, license, and insurance to every document.

Your data

Everything exports, always

Clients on your device, documents as PDFs, history as CSV. If we ever disappear, your business doesn't even notice.

• The comparison

The old way was fine expensive.

The suite-for-teams way

  • $19–36/month, per seat, climbing yearly
  • Usage fees on top — per invoice, per client
  • Your clients forced to make accounts
  • Your money routed through their platform
  • Sunsets when the startup pivots
  • The GigPaper way

  • $10/month flat — or $30 unlimited. No seats either way.
  • Zero usage fees, zero percentage of invoices
  • Clients click a link — that's the whole ceremony
  • Stripe pays you directly
  • Offline-first; everything exports in one tap
  • • Pricing

Two prices. Both flat. Both boring.

    • Questions

    The stuff you'd ask anyway.

Do my clients have to create an account?

No. Your clients open a clean web page, read the proposal or invoice, and click to accept or pay. No signup, no app, no password for them — ever.* That single difference is most of why people switch.

    * Optional end-to-end encryption is the only twist: if your client already has a GigPaper account it opens instantly for them, otherwise they unlock it with a password you share separately — either way, no signup.

    How much does it cost?

Two flat prices. Solo is $10/month (5 active clients, 20 invoices a month, every feature). Studio is $30/month (unlimited clients and invoices, plus auto-nudges, estimates, and custom document branding). No per-seat fees, no usage fees. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial — no card to start.

Do you take a percentage of my invoices?

Never. GigPaper doesn't take a cut and doesn't hold your money. When a client pays by card, the funds go straight to your own connected account — only your payment processor's standard fee applies, the same as if you billed them directly.

How do I actually get paid?

Clients can pay any invoice by card and the money lands directly in your account, with the invoice marked paid automatically. Prefer bank transfer, PayPal, or Venmo? List your own rails on the invoice and mark it paid by hand. Your call, every time.

    Is my data actually private?

Yes — and not in the hand-wavy way. Your client book, rates, and drafts are end-to-end encrypted, so GigPaper's servers literally can't read them. You can also send fully end-to-end encrypted documents that only the recipient can open.

What if I want to leave?

Everything exports free, in one tap: clients as a file, documents as PDFs, history as CSV. No lock-in, no export fee, no hostage negotiation. If GigPaper ever vanished, your business wouldn't even notice.

Does it work on my phone?

There's a native iPhone and Android app plus a web dashboard, kept in sync. Track time with a live timer, send documents, and get paid from either one.
